At PDS, we conduct Pharmacovigilance literature searching and monitoring activities. We identify the local sources that are relevant for the products in question, set up a system for the review of scientific and medical literature and identify potential safety concerns related to pharmaceutical products. These activities are crucial for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and enhance patient safety.

Key tasks include:

• Building a Local Literature Search Source list.
• Conducting regular searches in databases, web pages and journals to identify adverse events and safety signals.
• Evaluating literature for relevance to drug safety.
• Reporting findings to regulatory authorities as per the relevant guidelines.

This proactive approach supports informed decision-making and helps maintain the benefit-risk profile of medications.
